The evening of June 19th will be one to remember as the Canadian Forces Snowbirds fly over Colchester County! Wednesday evening performances are a big part of the Snowbirds schedule and they will fly a dozen of them this season. It's an opportunity to fly for smaller communities that don't host large weekend air shows and promote the Canadian Forces in new places each year.
You can be a part of this exciting event as a fan, sponsor or volunteer. Tickets are on sale and are very affordable as we welcome children under 12 in for FREE with adults who will pay just $12 for an advance ticket. Click here for full details.
Community partners are needed for the many services and supplies we require to host the team and other performers in the flying and static displays. Contact our Executive Director to see how we can help you promote your brand and contribute to a successful Show.
The Show site will open in the afternoon and flying will be after the supper hour. As we fill in the performances we will provide a schedule through our Insiders Club eNewsletters. Click here to join now!
The Debert Airport has a long history with the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). It was established in 1941 as RCAF Station Debert and was used during World War II as RAF No. 31 Operational Training Unit in support of RAF Ferry Command and was then taken over by the RCAF in 1944 and re-designated No. 7 OTU.
The air show organizing team is very excited to provide a Snowbirds performance in Atlantic Canada this year. This will be the ONLY Snowbirds performance east of Quebec in 2019 and will be in a first-time venue. We make history this year as the Snowbirds fly their very first performance at this location and will welcome other displays as we confirm additional participants.
