The evening of June 19th will be one to remember as the Canadian Forces Snowbirds fly over Colchester County! Wednesday evening performances are a big part of the Snowbirds schedule and they will fly a dozen of them this season. It's an opportunity to fly for smaller communities that don't host large weekend air shows and promote the Canadian Forces in new places each year. You can be a part of this exciting event as a fan, sponsor or volunteer.
The Show site will open at 2 pm and flying will start after 5 pm. As we fill in the performances we will provide a schedule through our Insiders Club eNewsletters. Click here to join now!
The Debert Airport has a long history with the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). It was established in 1941 as RCAF Station Debert and was used during World War II as RAF No. 31 Operational Training Unit in support of RAF Ferry Command and was then taken over by the RCAF in 1944 and re-designated No. 7 OTU.
The air show organizing team is very excited to provide a Snowbirds performance in Atlantic Canada this year. This will be the ONLY Snowbirds performance east of Quebec in 2019 and will be in a first-time venue. We make history this year as the Snowbirds fly their very first performance at this location and will welcome other displays as we confirm additional participants.
We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank all of the partners and sponsors that make the Air Show possible this year.
Did you know that it will take the effort of nearly a hundred volunteers to make this Air Show run successfully?
Every year we work with our host city to recruit local volunteers to assist us with many aspects of the Show. We're always on the lookout for new faces to help us out!
Our Air Shows are widely recognized as an ideal marketing platform for you to reach the public and corporate customers.

In every community we stage an Air Show, we require a variety of services & supplies.
We always try to work with local and regional businesses when possible to develop relationships with that business community as well as contribute to a positive economic impact for that area.
Running the first Air Show in recent memory in Debert, the Nova Scotia International Air Show Association (NSIASA) has a long, proud history in the industry and the region.
Show Atlantic is the major annual Air Show run by the NSIASA and will be taking place this year at 14 Wing Greenwood on Labour Day

including the only 2019 appearance of the
